Learn-To-Swim Lessons

Quince Orchard Swim Academy’s Learn-To-Swim Lessons are the perfect starting point for budding swimmers embarking on their aquatic journey.


Our program is meticulously crafted to nurture water confidence and foster the development of fundamental swimming skills. With a focus on teaching the four competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, & Butterfly) our certified instructors deliver personalized coaching in a supportive and encouraging setting, ensuring each swimmer gains the proficiency and self-assurance needed to excel in the water.


Levels of Learn-To-Swim Lessons:

  • Level 1 - Water Acclimation, Floating, & Freestyle Kicking
  • Level 2 - Streamline & Freestyle Strokes
  • Level 3 - Freestyle Side-breathing & Backstroke
  • Level 4 - Breaststroke & Treading Water
  • Level 5 - Butterfly

Annual Non-Refundable Membership Fee: $100


Sessions (10 weeks):


  • Fall Session: 9/23/2024 - 12/1/2024
  •      Make Up Week: 12/2/2024 - 12/8/2024
  • Winter Session: 12/9/2024 - 2/16/2025
  •      Make Up Week: 2/17/2025 - 2/23/2025
  • Spring Session: 2/24/2025 - 5/4/2025
  •      Make Up Week: 5/5/2024 - 5/11/2025

Multi-Registration Discount: 2.5% discount on practice fees per additional practice day


Multi-Athlete Discount: 5% discount on practice fees per Swimmer with 2 or more 

Monday-Friday: 4-4:45 pm, 5-5:45 pm, 6-6:45 pm, & 7-7:45 pm


Saturday: 8-8:45 am, 9-9:45 am, 10-10:45 am, 11-11:45 am


Sunday: 8-8:45 am, 9-9:45 am, 1-1:45 pm, 2-2:45 pm, 3-3:45 pm, 4-4:45 pm, 5-5:45 pm

1x/week: $300 per Session


2x/week: $585 per Session


3x/week: $855 per Session


4x/week: $1,110 per Session


5x/week: $1,350 per Session


6x/week: $1,575 per Session

Additional Indoor Learn-To-Swim Lessons Information

  • Membership Fee: Indoor Learn-To-Swim membership fee is $100
  • This is an annual fee that is required to be able to enroll in Indoor Learn-To-Swim Lessons
  • Make Up Options: If your swimmer misses their regularly scheduled Lesson, you can sign up for a makeup Lesson during our 'Make Up Week' & 'Saturday 12 pm Make Up' opportunities. Please see our Make Up section below for more information.
  • Coach-to-Swimmer Ratio: Levels 1 & 2 will have a 1:3 ratio, while Levels 3, 4, & 5 will have a 1:5 ratio.
  • Multi-Registration Discount: 2.5% discount on practice fees per additional practice day
  • Multi-Athlete Discount: 5% discount on practice fees per Swimmer

How to Register

The Quince Orchard Swim Academy utilizes the Captyn platform to manage registrations.

Below are instructions on how to register!


Step 1: Click the button link in the section above to register for Indoor Lessons.

Step 2: Select the days and times you would like to enroll in to add them to your cart.

  • Please note that there are Fall Session, Winter Session, & Spring Options for each day and time.

Step 3: Click into your cart to check out.

Step 4: Create your Captyn account. Enter your information along with your swimmers' information.

Step 5: Complete the check out procedure. You will receive a welcome email confirming your enrollment.

Step 6: Attend your Lessons and start your swimming journey!

The Quince Orchard Swim Academy utilizes the Captyn platform to manage makeups.

Below are instructions on how to register!


Step 1: Miss your scheduled Lesson. Once you miss your Lesson, your Captyn account will be issued a 'token'. This token will be used to represent your missed class and will allow you to schedule a make up during our designated opportunities.

Step 2:  Use the links below to access our various makeup options.

*Be sure to use filter buttons at the top to narrow down the makeup options to your swimmers' Level & Day of availability*

Step 3:  Click the 'Add Participant' button under the Day & Time that works best for you.

Step 4: Click 'Cart' in the top right.

Step 5: Complete the check out procedure.

Step 6:  Your Makeup Lesson will be 'pending' until members of our Coaching Staff can redeem a Missed Lesson token on your account. Your Makeup Lesson will then be approved and you will see it listed as a registered class for your swimmer.


*Swimmers must be enrolled in current session to schedule makeups*

*If you do not have a token on your account, your Makeup Lesson request will be declined*

*If you have a conflict with your registered Make Up Lesson, please reach out to us (QOswim@ccacc-dc.org) at least 48 hours in advance to move the Make Up Lesson to another Day/Time*

*All Make Up Tokens will be voided at the end of 2024-2025 Indoor Season*

*Missed Make Ups will not be rescheduled*
