Swim Team Prep
At Quince Orchard Swim Academy, our Swim Team Prep program is designed for athletes dedicated to refining their swimming technique in preparation for joining our Competitive Team. Our participants range from those gearing up for summer league and high school swimming to those focusing on fitness & stroke improvements. Our coaches will strive to ensure that every swimmer’s goals are met with expert guidance and support.
Swimmers joining Swim Team Prep should be comfortable swimming sets of 25/50 meter laps of Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, & Butterfly on an interval.

Additional Swim Team Prep Information
- Membership Fee: Swim Team Prep membership fee is $100
- This is an annual fee that is required to be able to enroll in Swim Team Prep practices
- Make Up Options: If your swimmer misses their regularly scheduled practice, you can sign up for a makeup practice during our 'Make Up Week' & 'Saturday 12 pm Make Up' opportunities. Please see our Make Up section below for more information.
- Multi-Registration Discount: 2.5% discount on practice fees per additional practice day
- Multi-Athlete Discount: 5% discount on practice fees per Swimmer

How to Register
The Quince Orchard Swim Academy utilizes the Captyn platform to manage registrations.
Below are instructions on how to register!
Step 1: Click the Register Here buttons above to enroll in Indoor Swim Team Prep at Quince Orchard!
Step 2: Select the Indoor Swim Team Prep practice days and times you would like to enroll in to add them to your cart.
- Please note that there are Fall Session, Winter Session, & Spring Session Options for each day and time.
- You are able to filter offerings by Day & Session!
Step 3: Click into your cart to check out.
Step 4: Create your Captyn account. Enter your information along with your swimmers' information.
Step 5: Complete the check out procedure. You will receive a welcome email confirming your enrollment.
Step 6: Attend your Swim Team Prep practices and start your swimming journey!
How to Schedule a Make Up
The Quince Orchard Swim Academy utilizes the Captyn platform to manage Make Ups.
Below are instructions on how to register!
Step 1: Miss your scheduled Swim Team Prep practice. Once you miss your practice, your Captyn account will be issued a 'token'. This token will be used to represent your missed practice and will allow you to schedule a Make Up during our designated opportunities.
Step 2: Use the links below to access our various makeup options.
- Saturday 12 pm Make Up (10/5/2024-5/3/2025)
- Fall Make Up Week (12/2-12/8/2024)
- Winter Make Up Week (2/17-2/23/2025)
- Spring Make Up Week (5/5-5/11/2025)
*Be sure to use filter buttons at the top to narrow down the makeup options to your swimmers' Day of availability*
Step 3: Click the 'Add Participant' button under the Day & Time that works best for you.
Step 4: Click 'Cart' in the top right.
Step 5: Complete the check out procedure.
Step 6: Your Make Up practice will be 'pending' until members of our Coaching Staff can redeem a Missed Clinic token on your account. Your Make Up practice will then be approved and you will see it listed as a registered class for your swimmer.
*Swimmers must be enrolled in current session to schedule makeups*
*If you do not have a token on your account, your Make Up request will be declined*
*If you have a conflict with your registered Make Up , please reach out to us (QOswim@ccacc-dc.org) at least 48 hours in advance to move the Make Up to another Day/Time*
*All Make Up Tokens will be voided at the end of 2024-2025 Indoor Season*
*Missed Make Ups will not be rescheduled*
